Using Essential Oils for Oral Hygiene

Using Essential Oils for Oral Hygiene

Using essential oils for oral hygiene is going to be really big! Simply because they work to clean the mouth of bacteria like nothing else on the market. WARNING: DO NOT BUY ESSENTIAL OILS AND MAKE YOUR OWN PRODUCTS … unless of course you are a certified Aromatherapist and really know what you are doing! That is why I’ve created the bodyFood Dental/ one drop solution. The product is formulated to be therapeutically correct and to give you the best dental cleaning product in a safe, holistic, organic way. The thing about essential oils is that they are very powerful! In fact, one drop of say peppermint essential oil is equivalent to drinking 60 cups of peppermint tea. You’d never do that in a day so please educate yourself and know what you are doing, because you can do more harm than good.

The botanical oils in the product have been specifically chosen to give each individual an optimal cleaning experience. I’ve had an essential oil based business for 9 years now and one of the things I’ve always done is custom blend for clients that have specific needs. One particular client came to me asking me to make an oil for her to use for dental purposes, as she was having no luck with products on the market. The fact is that as she is aging her dental issues are going from bad to worse. So I did a bit of research, and as my expertise is in pharmaceutical compounding, I created a blend for her to use instead of toothpaste. Voila! … to our delight and surprise, (her dentist, herself and I), her oral health improved significantly in a very short time. I decided to do an informal study with 30 participants of various ages and all of the results were the same. Incredibly clean teeth and gums and every hygienist remarked on the improvement on the individuals’ oral health. This was the beginning of bodyFood Dental (formerly oneDrop Dental). Since June 2015, we have been selling this product and helping individuals to achieve what other oral hygiene products have never achieved before….Super clean, healthy teeth and gums!

There are essential oils that are really beneficial to oral health and in which you can use as part of your dental or oral hygiene. It’s a good thing you are able to discuss about it here in your post for people to be more aware of it also.
